CASISD and CIIE Signed MOU for Cooperation

Aug. 16, Prof. PAN Jiaofeng, president of the Institutes of Science and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) jointly with SUN Chenghai, vice president of China International Import Expo (CIIE) Bureau in Beijing.
Under the MOU, CASISD became the official think tank partner of the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, and will work with CIIE Bureau to build an open cooperation network and carry out strategic collaborations.
“The Hongqiao International Economic Forum is a very important window and platform for international exchanges.” Pan said, “CASISD will give firm support to the CIIE and Hongqiao Forum with its features and strengths.”
Sun said, “CIIE is the world's first import-themed national level exhibition, including national exhibition, enterprise business exhibition, Hongqiao Forum, cultural exchange platform, etc.”
The Hongqiao International Economic Forum serves as a platform for international politics, business and academia to discuss major international frontier issues, and provides international public goods for promoting open cooperation and mutual benefit.
