Recently, the international academic website Research.com released a ranking of the world's top scientists for the year 2023, based on a meticulous analysis of 166,880 researchers determined from various bibliometric data sources. For the discipline of Economics and Finance, more than 8163 scientists were investigated.  

Professor JI Qiang from the Institutes of Science and Development of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD) was selected as one of the best researchers in the discipline of Economics and Finance, ranking 705^th globally and 12^th in China. 

JI was also selected for the "Best Rising Stars of Science in the World in 2022" list on Research.com, ranking 189^th globally and 74^th in China.
